A final video capturing some of the best action at the recent Red Bull Storm Chase off the Donegal coast is attracting huge interest online.
Millions of people around the globe have seen footage of Red Bull Storm Challenges in the past.
The 2019 version saw some spectacular images and footage of extreme surfers battling storm force winds and huge waves off Magheraroarty.
And you can see the incredible action here.
Incredibly, the event happened after a three-year wait for the ‘perfect storm’.
Expectations were sky-high when the latest edition of Red Bull Storm Chase got underway and the North Atlantic delivered everything the organisers were looking for.
Of all the Red Bull Storm Chase competitors, Jaeger Stone might not have been the obvious pick to win the 2019 event, when it finally got the green light on Ireland's northwestern coast after three years of no-go.
The warm-water sailor from Australia is an excellent windsurfer – he had to be to be invited to compete at all – but he didn't have the reputation for massive jumps like Philip Köster, or the storm-sailing pedigree of Tom Traversa.
Nevertheless, when Storm Gareth hit the northwest coast of Ireland, Stone was the one who came out on top, followed by Köster, Leon Jamaer, and Robby Swift.
The 2013 Red Bull Storm Challenge was held in Kerry and the youtube footage amassed almost 1.2 million views.
No doubt, the Magheraroarty videos will continue to command interest in the weeks and months ahead.
