An event is being hosted in Donegal to support eleven-year-old Billy Caldwell who has uncontrollable epilepsy and is being treated with cannabis.

Orlagh Wilson (16) has organised a Guest Tea taking place in the popular Maggie's Tavern on March 10th and is hoping people will attend or host a table.

Wilson has been supporting the Keep Billy Alive campaign, which came to international attention when the Co Tyrone boy returned to Ireland after a doctor procured a legal cannabis supplement to treat his condition.

Billy recently suffered a devastating setback and was in critical condition due to a life threatening bout of extreme seizures.

The seizures he suffers cannot be controlled by medication or diet. Billy was recently discharged from hospital in Los Angeles and returned to Ireland with his mum following treatment.
