The Lands of Éogain are delighted to announce the Fourth Inishowen Lecture focusing on the archeology of the Isle of Doagh, Inishowen.

The event will take place on Saturday, September 15, 2018, in The Market House, Clonmany, from 7.00pm to 10.00pm.

Eminent speakers, Dr Brian Lambkin and Dr Kay Muhr, will give the keynote lecture discussing the work of Inishowen-born philosopher John Toland and the place-names of the Isle.

Brian Lambkin was a founding Director of the Mellon Centre for Migration Studies at the Ulster-American Folk Park and past President of the Association of European Migration Institutions.

Kay Muhr was senior researcher of the Northern Ireland Place-name Project in Queen’s University, Belfast for more than 20 year, up to the launch in 2010 of the website (linking with .

She is also a past Chairperson of the Ulster Place-Name Society and continues to publish on various aspects of names of Ireland and Scotland.
