The number of patients waiting for a bed in Letterkenny University Hospital stands at 26.
That is the figure released today, Wednesday, by the Irish Nurses' and Midwives' Organisation (INMO).
It said there are 11 people on trolleys and 15 waiting in wards.
Patients, who are categorised as being on trolleys, have not been allocated a ward bed and typically have to wait along corridors, but are also moved between general locations where space allows.
Letterkenny's hospital, which is Donegal's largest, had the highest waiting list in the country yesterday.
The were 38 patients without a bed, more than any other hospital in Ireland.
The INMO's national figure for today is 510.
It claims that University Hospital Waterford's tally of 37 patients is the highest nationally today.
