Work to “open up” the Lookout in Fahan has been welcomed locally.
A large number of trees that had been obstructing the view at the local beauty spot have been cut back, allowing anyone traveling to Buncrana an unspoiled view over Lough Swilly on approach.
There had been concern from some locals about the number of trees cut down, however Cllr Nicholas Crossan explained the trees had only been “looped” and new trees were going to be planted in “strategic” location.
