Patsy visited Moville Community College and gave a number of very informative workshops on Fairtrade, in preparation for Fairtrade Fortnight. The TY students will now go on to get involved in peer teaching classes to both Primary and Junior Students in their own school.

Moville Community College is a Fairtrade school.

In preparation for Fairtrade Fortnight, we invited Patsy Toland from Changemakers, to do workshops in the school. These took place with our TY Global Citizenship classes on Friday, February 15.

The students involved will now go on to peer teach other students both in primary school and juniors in their own school.

Teachers throughout Moville Community College will integrate Fairtrade into their lessons over the two week period.

This year, the "Fairtrade Pop Up Shop" was also introduced to the school. This gives students, staff and parents the opportunity to try or stock up on Fairtrade items.

We invite everyone in Inishowen to try to buy more Fairtrade items as there are countless benefits to farmers and families who live in the Global South.
