A new European Union directive regarding cigarettes and tobacco will come into force tomorrow.
The new laws will ban misleading words from appearing on the cigarette packs such as "organic" or "less harmful than others".
Packs of cigarettes must also be a minimum of 30g, which will allow for more health warnings.
The warnings will also now have to cover 65% of the pack.
Rolling tobacco with menthol and fruit flavours will also be banned.
Electronic cigarettes and their refill containers will be regulated once this directive comes into place.
Companies are said to have 12 months to sell existing stock before they must fully adhere to these new rules.
