The celebrations of Donegal's winning rally crew of Manus Kelly and Donall Barrett were captured on camera for everyone to enjoy.

The history-making double champions were given special recognition yesterday evening at a civic reception in the Council Chamber, County House, Lifford.

The honour for Manus and Donall was in recognition of their achievements in winning the Donegal International Rally in 2016 (main picture) and 2017, plus the 2015 National Rally Championship.

They became the first Donegal crew in the history of the event to win back-to-back Donegal titles.

A civic reception is the highest honour that a local authority can bestow on an person or group.
