Letterkenny now has the “largest rumble strips in the history of local authorities,” Cllr. Dessie Larkin (FF) declared at the monthly meeting of town council last night.
He described stretches of the main approach roads into the town as “bone-shakers”, namely the roads at Ballymacool, on the inbound dual carriageway from Manorcunningham, and at the Mountain Top on the N56.
Cllr. Larkin questioned the quality of materials used in some stretches of roads.
Co. Manager Seamus Neely said that the issues are being looked at.
