There has been another attack at the Donegal hotel earmarked to accommodate asylum seekers.

The Caiseal Hotel in Moville in Inishowen was due take in 100 asylum seekers from this month.

However, that was put back when the hotel was damaged in an arson attack last month.

The latest incident occurred at around 10.00pm last night.

A security guard assigned to the hotel escaped injury when the rear window of his car was smashed by a brick as he sat the vehicle.

It is understood he escaped injury.

Gardai are appealing for information.
