The North West Simon Community have a packed programme of events planned in Donegal over the summer months, from festivals to bag packs to parachute jumps.

The group, who provided support services for those who are homeless or and those at risk of homelessness, will kick off their summer fundraising and awareness events this Friday, June 6, with a bag pack collection at the old Dunnes Stores in Letterkenny. The group are seeking volunteers to assist with the event, and those interested can visit http://www.northwestsimon.ie or visit the group’s Facebook page, North West Simon Community.

The next event on the group’s calendar is a charity parachute jump, which will take place from Thursday July 31 – Monday August 4. For more details contact Collette on 0870552478 or by emailing donegal[email protected].

Finally, North West Simon will be attending festivals over the summer. They will have a stand at the Inishowen Agricultural Show in Carndonagh on Saturday, July 19 and have asked locals to come along and support the cause on the day.

They will also be attending the Donegal Food Festival once again this year. The group have asked anyone interested in volunteering for a few hours on the day to get in touch. Once again, you can contact Collette on 0870552478 or by emailing [email protected].
