Sinn Fein's Albert Doherty became the second person to be elected at the Inishowen count. Doherty was declared elected on the seventh count with 1,636 votes. He received 125 transfers from Carndonagh's Independent candidate Patrick McCarroll. His 36 surplus votes will now be transferred.
