The good news for Donegal people out and about today is that it is expected to remain dry. Temperatures will be in the low teens, 10 to 12 degrees. Winds wil be moderate heading from an Easterly direction.
The day is a prelude to things getting colder as the week progresses.
Temperatures tonight will drop between 2 and 5 degrees. It will also be colder on Monday and by Wednesday temperatures are expected to drop even further.
