As part of Ireland’s preparations to host the internationally renowned ‘Adventure Travel World Summit’ this October (6th – 9th in Co. Kerry), Fáilte Ireland has arranged for two of the sector’s leading authorities to get a hands-on experience of the Wild Atlantic Way which they can also share online with activity and adventure travel enthusiasts and experts around the world.

Their journey will see them travel the length of the Wild Atlantic Way route, bringing them all the way from Kinsale right up to the Inishowen Peninsula in Co. Donegal.

All this week, Adventure Travel Trade Association (ATTA) President, Shannon Stowell and his Executive Director Chris Doyle will be exploring the Wild Atlantic Way route by motorbike and engaging in outdoor adventure activities along the way.

Speaking about the trip, Tracey Coughlan, Experience Development Manager with Fáilte Ireland said, “There is only so much we can say about the Wild Atlantic Way and sometimes it just has to be experienced.”

The trip will profile the Wild Atlantic Way route, including Co. Donegal, as an exciting tourism destination – action-packed with dramatic coastal scenery, adventure and unique Irish culture.
