A 23-year-old Donegal student was inspired by his sister's struggle to plan her wedding when he created his new app.

Declan Bourke is a member of the New Frontiers programme, hosted by Enterprise Ireland.

His business concept was recently shortlisted for Donegal’s Young Entrepreneur of the Year awards.

Bourke's sister struggled to plan her dream wedding in Ireland while working in the UK.

The mobile app is free, and helps couples plan their dream wedding from anywhere in the world, at any time, both on and offline.

Features include shared partner accounts, a budget calculator, guest and vendor manager and a unique shareable countdown clock.

"Following extensive market research, the app was launched and has been receiving excellent reviews to date. Since Friday December 4th, the app has received 2000 downloads, with 960 hours being spent on it by users," he said.

The app can be downloaded at the links below.
