The Scenic setting at Askill, in the lovely County of Leitrim, is where South Donegal Vintage and Heritage Club Vintage Car and Tractor run finished up on last weekend. This fundraising event organised by Club Chairman Michael Gallagher, his wife Ann and family along with family and friends of the late Geraldine McNeely.

It started off at 12noon from the Community Centre in Kinlough, where the car and tractors all assembled and refreshments were served. At about 1.30pm the fifty tractors left on the scenic route through the village of Kinlough and around the lake into Garrison.

The thirty four cars left Kinlough 15 minutes later and they took the high road around the lake meeting in Garrison with the tractors where they all made the rest of the journey together to the Askill Community Centre.

The ladies as usual had a beautifully prepared picnic, with music by Michael Cleary.

Members of the McNeely Family, Kildoney, Ballyshannon attended the Vintage Car and Tractor Run in Memory of Geraldine.

A raffle and auction also took place with all proceeds in aid of Sligo Hospital Oncology Unit Trust.
