The figure for patients waiting to get a bed in Letterkenny University Hospital is down to one of the lowest recorded throughout 2017.
The Irish Nurses' and Midwives' Organisation (INMO) stated today (Tuesday) that there are seven patients without a bed in LUH.
They said there are five people waiting on trolleys and two more waiting in wards.
The figures for LUH are normally in double digits and regularly in the 20s.
Nationally, the figure today is 359, according to the INMO.
It claims that University Hospital Limerick's waiting list figure of 57 is the highest in the country.
