INISHOWEN was hit by a series of water leaks last week.

As hundreds took to the streets of the peninsula to protest the incoming water charges, one leak in Buncrana alone took three days to fix while residents in other parts of Inishowen were left without water due to burst mains.

Irish Water said they were working with Donegal County Council to address the issues and had directed their resources to make the Inishowen network “a priority.”
