Motorists between on the main Letterkenny - Derry road were taken aback by the spectacle of a long, long line of tractors today - over 160 in total chugged along.

It was all part of the fourth annual Allen Wylie Tractor Run took that place today from Letterkenny to Burt – in aid of the Good and New Charity Cancer Bus.

Over €30,000 has been raised from the run over the years.

The money goes towards providing the  vital bus service for cancer patients from Donegal who  must go to Galway for treatment.

As Eamonn McDevitt of the Good and New Charity Cancer Bus explained, Allen Wylie is now a patient on the bus….
