Late Gerry Whyte

The death has occurred of Gerry Whyte, Gallows Lane, Lifford, Co. Donegal. Suddenly at his home, aged 51 years. Much loved brother of Patsy, Sean, Martin, Martha, Ann-Marie, Margaret, Mercedes, Brendan, and Paul.

Reposing at his home. Funeral leaving from there on Friday at 10.15am for Requiem Mass in St. Patrick's Church, Murlog at 11.00am. Burial afterwards in the adjoining cemetery. Donations in lieu of flowers please to The Friends of Lifford Hospital c/o 1A Newtown Place, Strabane.


Late Charles Gallen

The death has occurred of Charles Gallen, Ferndale, Killygordon, Co. Donegal.  Peacefully at St. Joseph's Hospital after a short illness bravely borne. Beloved husband of Bridie and much loved brother of Thomas and Mamie. Sadly missed by his wife, brother, sister, nephews, nieces, relatives, and friends.

Remains will repose at his home. Funeral leaving from there on Friday at 10.30m for 11.00am Requiem Mass in St. Patrick's Church, Crossroads, followed by interment in the adjoining cemetery. Family flowers only please. Donations in lieu, if desired, to Finn View Ward, St. Joseph's Hospital, Stranorlar c/o any family member. Family time from 10.00pm until 10.00am and on the morning of the funeral.


Late Patrick Shiels

The death has occurred of Patrick Shiels, Ballylar, Fanad, Co. Donegal. Peacefully at The Mater Hospital, Dublin after a long illness. Sadly missed by his wife Colette, daughter Aoife, parents Mickey and Sheila, brothers and sister Michael, Brian, and Kathleen, and extended families.
