Letterkenny Rovers are celebrating after winning the Donegal News Ulster Senior League Cup.

They defeated great rivals Cockhill Celtic 3-1 in the final at Finn Park.

And the hero for the Eamon McConigley managed side was former Finn Harps player BJ Banda who scored two late goals.

This win for Rovers ends Cockhill's incredible run of league and cup doubles.

They were going for a seventh Ulster Senior League, and USL League Cup, double.

Gavin Cullen's side won the league for the seventh year on the spin recently, but this time around Rovers triumphed.

Banda was involved in the move that led to Lee Toland scoring on 26 minutes to put Rovers ahead from the penalty spot.

Rory Kelly then saved a Gerry Gill penalty shortly before the break.

Cockhill drew level in the second half, but Bande pounced twice on a memorable day for Rovers.
