Donegal's Carl McHugh was one of the scorers today in a thrilling Scottish Premiership clash between Motherwell and Rangers.

Danny Johnston put the home side ahead and Northern Ireland international Kyle Lafferty equalised before Leitirmacaward man McHugh found the back of the net to restore Motherwell's lead after just 18 minutes.

However, Lafferty and Oviemuno Ejaria scored for the visitors who led 3-2 at the break.

But Motherwell gabbed a point thanks to a 93rd minute equaliser from Peter Harley to delight the majority in the 9,500 strong crowd at Fir Park.

Hearts top the table while this first point of the league campaign, in their third outing, moves Motherwell ovv the bottom and above Dundee FC.
