Win-less Finn Harps will play three of the top five teams in the Airtricity League Premier Division in their next three games, starting with a match against second placed Bohemians tonight at Finn Park. Kick-off is 8.00 pm.

Up next is third place Dundalk, the champions (away) and then fifth placed St. Patrick's Athletic at home.

Harps are a 500/1 shot to win the league!

At the other end of the scale, Shamrock Rovers are closing the gap yet again between themselves and Dundalk at the head of the Ireland Premier League ante post market. Dundalk have now drifted from 4/6 to 11/10 to lift the trophy with The Hoops slashed from 5/2 into 11/8, according to BoyleSports.

Shamrock Rovers gained themselves further points last week when beating Cork City 3-1 at the Turners Cross venue sending them eight points clear in the overall standings.

The Lilywhites are ten points adrift of Shamrock Rovers but have two games in hand and are 11/10 favourites from 4/6 to be crowned champions again to make it five league championships in six years.  However their recent loss to St Patrick's Athletic is one of the contributing factors for the drift in their price.

Cork City have drifted again from 12/1 to 16/1 now after initially being just 9/2 at the start of the season. Shamrock Rovers face Waterford United Friday night with 4/11 available for the home side with Waterford United a big 8/1.

Sarah Kinsella Spokesperson for BoyleSports said: “Shamrock Rovers are closing in on the favourites Dundalk now in the betting with BoyleSports easing The Lilywhites from 4/6 to 11/10 and the Hoops into 11/8 from 5/2. It’s an exciting time for the Dublin side who should gain another win Friday night against Waterford United”.
