The FAI Cup qualifying round is set to get underway this weekend as the road to the Aviva Stadium begins.

Twenty clubs were in the qualifying round draw, 16 intermediate clubs and four junior clubs; Ashling Annacotty, Donegal's Glengad United, Regional United and St. Michael’s.

Four teams, Cobh Wanderers, Crumlin United, Letterkenny Rovers and Killester Donnycarney, received a bye into the first round of the competition.

Six fixtures are set to get underway this weekend with two fixtures to be confirmed as all clubs look to progress to the first round of the competition.

Saturday, April 20

Newtown Rangers v Avondale United - Farrell Park, Kiltipper, 2pm
Glebe North v Midleton - Market Green, Balbriggan, 2pm
U.C.C. v Malahide United - The Mardyke, 3pm

Sunday, April 21

Glengad United v Home Farm - The Crua, Glengad, 3pm

TBC: Lucan United v Aisling Annacotty, St. Michael's v Regional United
