The Football Association of Ireland has issued a statement following the news that a Republic of Ireland supporter has died in Copenhagen.
The fan was in Denmark for the UEFA Nations League game between the countries.
The FAI has expressed its condolences to the family of the supporter.
An official request has been submitted to UEFA, by the FAI, to hold a minute's silence before kick-off in tonight's game in Aarhus.
The Ireland players will wear black armbands as a mark of respect for the supporter.
A number of fans from Donegal have travelled for the match.
The FAI continues to work with An Garda Síochána and the Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade on the matter.
