The draw has been made for the third round of the FAI Cup, the stage when the Airtricity League teams get involved.

Three Donegal teams were in the hat - but they have all got AWAY draws.

Finn Harps have been drawn away to Shamrock Rovers, who have won the competition more than anyone else - but not since 1987.

Two other Donegal teams are also involved, having come through earlier rounds.

Letterkenny Rovers, who play in the Ulster Senior League, are away to UCD, who are bottom of the Premier Division.

Glengad United, who play in the Inishowen Junior League, must travel to St. Michael's of Tipperary, who beat them previously in the FAI Junior Cup.

Holders Dundalk have been drawn away to Cobh Ramblers, while the match of the round is probably the Dublin derby between Bohemians and Shelbourne.

There are three non-league fixtures - Lucan United v Killester Donnycarney; Crumlin United v Malahide United; and St Michael's v Glengad United.

Last year's beaten finalists Cork City will make the trip to Cabinteely.

Sligo Rovers, who were successful on the big day at the Aviva on three occasions this decade, have a trip to non-league Glebe North.

Derry City are home to Wexford FC.

Ties will take place on the weekend ending Sunday 11 August.
