Finn Harps notched up another great point as they held St. Patrick's Athletic to a scoreless draw at Richmond Park.
After the encouraging display in holding champions Dundalk to a 1- 1 draw on Friday, this was another good result for the Ollie Horgan managed side.
Harps made one change as Niall McGinley started in place of Raffaele Cretaro.
St. Pat's had the better of things in a scoreless first half with David Webster, Rhys McCabe and Mikey Drennan to the fore, but chances were few and far between.
Dogged Harps defended well and the majority in the crowd of 1,747 began to get frustrated as the second half wore on.
Harps almost took the lead through a Sean Boyd shot on 58 minutes while at the other end Brandon Miele had a shot saved by Peter Burke (pictured).
Boyd and McGinley had further chances for the Donegal side.
As the game went into the final quarter Harps brought on Raffaele Cretaro for Nathan Boyle while the Saints replaced McCabe with Chris Forrester.
The Dublin side piled on the pressure in the last few minutes but Harps held on a for another good point and could have snatched victory with a late effort from Sam Todd.
