Hannon Greene Insurances Inishowen Ladies U14 League

Clonmany 7

QPS  0

The match started with Clonmany on top but QPS  were defending well and hard to break down. Clonmany went in front in the 10th minute when Emma Devlin went on a solo run past three defenders and gave the keeper no chance with a fine finish.

Clara Gill then played Devlin in to make  it 2-0, and just before half time she got her hat trick when she buried Alana Keogh's excellent pass.

There was no stopping Devlin now, and she claimed her fourth goal early in the second half before Cora McCaul won a great tackle and put Katherine Doherty away and she fired the ball into the corner of the net.

QPS never stopped trying and after great work down the right by Sarah McGonigle and Niamh Harkin, they got the ball into Ellie McAllister who hit a great shot, but Daisy Clark made a brilliant save.

Clonmany's Katherine Doherty struck again twice to claim a  hat trick as well.
