Donegal’s minor and senior GAA players will be battling it out against Derry’s minors and seniors this weekend.

The sporting action will get underway on Sunday, May 25th at 12.15pm when Declan Bonner’s minor side will take to the pitch aginst Derry minors at Celtic Park, Derry in the Electric Ireland Ulster Minor Football Championship Quarter-final.

It has been a good year so far for the Donegal Minor’s as they made their way through to the Ulster Minor League undefeated, let’s hope Declan Bonner’s minor side can keep up the good work when they face Derry on Sunday!

At 2.00pm Jim McGuinness will be eagerly anticipating how Donegal will fare over Derry in the Ulster GAA Football Senior Championship Quarter-final, which is also being played at Celtic Park, Derry.

Donegal will have to face Derry without one of their top midfield players Rory Kavanagh, and there is concern over the fitness of Neil Gallagher.

Despite these set backs Manager Jim McGuinness is remaining optimistic about Sunday’s game.

Let’s hope his optimism and the dedication of the players pays off!
