This year’s bike week runs from June 14th until June 23rd and there will be a host of themed events organized by local authorities, community groups and cycling groups throughout the county.

From free bike checks, fun cycles, lunchtime city rides, heritage cycles, electric bike races, school cycling events, bike festivals, road races and much more there’s something for every age and ability.

Local Donegal Sports Partnership with the support of the Department of Transport , Tourism and Sport, Donegal County Council, HSE and local cycling clubs and community groups have coordinated a full programme of bike related events all across the county for everyone to participate in and enjoy.

Bike Week in Donegal got underway on June 10th with a county launch and a lunchtime cycle in Letterkenny.

Events over the course of the week include a Mountain Bike and Camping Trip to Slieve League departing from Glenties, a Hills of Donegal Tour  with Errigal CC departing from Termon, a GNS Pink Charity Cycle departing from Carndonagh, an Introductory Cycle with Donegal Bay CC in Donegal Town and much more!
