Former Dublin star Diarmuid Connolly showed his class as he inspired Donegal Boston to championship victory yesterday.
The five time All-Ireland winner proved to unstoppable as the 31-year-old contributed to all but five of his side's points as they ran out 0-17 to 1-12 winners over Wolfe Tones to claim the Boston Senior Championship in Canton.
Connolly transferred to Donegal Boston for the summer after opting not to play for Dublin’s Senior Team, and scored 0-2 in his opening game against Connemara Gaels.
The forward is permitted to return to Championship action for St Vincent’s when club hurling and football resumes in September should he return from America.
