Finn Harps    2       Wexford Youths      2

Full-time.

Points shared at the end of the best game of the season in Finn Park. Wexford will be the happier as they close the gap on Galway to just two points in the promotion race. Harps have now lost just one in eleven games but it's another draw - their 11th of the season.

90 Mins: Danny Furlong hits the bar for Wexford and play then swings to the other end where Gareth Harkin nearly grabs victory for Harps but his effort goes just wide.

86 Mins: Caoimhin Bonner send off for Harps for dissent.

75 Mins: Danny Furlong scores from a penalty for Wexford to make it 2-2.

72 Mins; Kevin McHugh misses a penalty after referee Simon Rogers controversially awards a spot-kick against Wexford for handball.

59 Mins: Gareth Harkin slips a delightful ball through for Kevin McHugh to run onto inside the box and despatch the ball past the advancing Graham Doyle in some style.

52 Mins: Harps attack and Sean McCarron whips in a great cross which is met by Gareth Harkin at the far post but his shot his diverted out for a corner by goalkeeper Graham Doyle.

Half-time.

42 Mins: Eric Molloy shoots just over the target for Wexford.

30 Mins: Wexford look the better side in a game that will surely produce more goals. Harps have been guilty of losing the ball too frequently.

15 Mins: Mailey loses possession in midfield and Harps pay the price as Ben Ryan lets fly with a super long range effort that flies into the top corner to equalise for Wexford.

10 Mins: It's a good, open game so far with playing swinging from end to end.

2 Mins: Josh Mailey gives Harps a early tonic by firing the ball home from the edge of the box after a decent build up.

The game is on here in what is the proverbial six pointer. A win for Wexford would keep them very much in the hunt for a play-off spot while at the same time more of less ending any flickering hopes that Harps have. But a win for Harps would keep the Donegal club on the fringes of the promotion race and would cut their deficit behind Wexford to just two points.
