Donegal are out of this year's All-Ireland Senior Football Championship.

They lost to Mayo in their Super 8s clash in Castlebar.

If finished: Mayo 1-14, Donegal 1-10.

Donegal began well and took an early two point lead but Mayo were in front by half-time, leading by 1-7 to 0-4. Cillian O'Connor got the goal.

Spurred on by a Michael Murphy penalty, Donegal responded well in the second half and kept plugging away.

But Mayo always had the edge and so go through to the semi-finals.
