Inishowen Engineering Division Two

Moville Reserves 6

Cockhill Reserves 2

Moville started very well and were two goals ahead in the opening fifteen minutes. Firstly PJ Barr converted a Danny Murphy cross before Michael Grimley  finished low to the corner from ten yards after being picked out by Pearse Doherty.

They increased their lead on 44 minutes when  James Gillen unleashed a superb twenty five yards effort to the top corner.

Cockhill started the second half well and Patrick Mclaughlin fired just wide before an error in the home defence allowed Mallett to drill low past Coyle and make it three one.

But three goals in a ten minute spell ended the game as a contest, with Pearse Doherty executing a superb chip, Christy McGeogheghan heading home from a corner and Jack Ferry blasting to the roof of the net after good work by Doherty.

Cockhill  got a late consolation when Mallett was upended in the area allowing Mark Gillespie to fire home from the spot.
