The new Inishowen League season begins in earnest next week as the popular Seamus Pat McLaughlin Memorial Cup kicks off at Greencastle FC's Chapel Lane home.

The Annual tournament between the neighbouring clubs of Carrowmena, Moville Celtic, Redcastle United and the hosts is set to have an added interest this year with all four clubs under new management.

The Ballybrack side are now managed by Pat McLaughlin with assistance from Eunan McDaid and Cathal Kelly and look set to have a strong squad this year with Ronan Doherty, Caolan Moore and James Henry all returning to the club.

Greencastle open the tournament on Friday, August 8th, against familiar rivals Carrowmena who have Raymond Dougal back in the hot seat at The Warren.

The second semi-final will see Moville Celtic take on Redcastle United where new Glencrow boss Martin Rea will come up against his former club who are this year being managed by the returning John Logue with the assistance of Sean Breslin.

The referees at the tournament are Liam Davenport, George McLaughlin, Robin McDermott and John Joe Lafferty and the final will be played on Friday August 15th, the weekend of the Greencastle festival.
