Everton player Seamus Coleman who is originally from Killybegs, Co. Donegal, proved to be very popular at Everton’s end-of-season awards ceremony last night in St. George’s Hall, Liverpool.
The 25 year-old Donegal native walked away with two separate awards – Players’ Player of the Season and Everton Fans’ Player of the Season.
This double-award scoop comes just after he was named best right-back in the Premier League on the Professional Footballer’s Association Team of the Season the weekend before last.
There have been rumours of £20 million move to Manchester Utd. in the summer but nothing has been confirmed.
