Donegal are celebrating another Ulster SFC title success after defeating Cavan by 1-24 to 2-16 in Clones.

This was Donegal's tenth provincial success, and they retain their provincial crown.

BoyleSports have now cut Donegal into 11/2 from 10/1 to win the All-Ireland SFC in September and are the second favourites behind Dublin who are 1/2.

The Ulster side were as big as 22/1 at the beginning of their 2019 campaign but following their strong journey throughout the Ulster GAA Football Senior Championship, the local support has slashed their price to win their third All-Ireland SFC into the shortest it has been this season.

Jamie Brennan was again to the fore for an impressive Donegal side that led by 0-13 to 0-5 at half-time.

And the lead really should have been more as they squandered a number of good chances.

Donegal struck three of the first five points in the second half to delight their followers in a crowd of over 28,000.

But just when Cavan were enjoying signs of a mini-revival Brennan struck with a goal to put Donegal really on the road to victory.

Conor Madden scored a goal for the Breffnie men in the 64th minute and replacement Stephen Murray raised another green flag, in the fifth minute of additional time.

But by that stage the ribbons were green and white again on the Anglo-Celt Cup which is staying in Donegal.

Now attention switches to an even bigger task.

Donegal could well be the biggest obstacle champions Dublin may face.
