Finn Harps     0    Galway FC      0

GAME OVER.

It's ended all square here. Harps went close on several occasions in the final quarter, notably through Sean McCarron who hit the crossbar. Galway had a later header from Jake Keegan that went over the target. In the end a point each was a fair outcome.

67 Mins: Mid-way through the second half and you feel that one goal will seal it.  Gareth Harkin has had a couple of long range pots on goal for Harps while Sean McCarron had a shot blocked by Galway goalkeeper Ger Hanley. At the other end Jason Molly found the side netting for Galway after being put through by Ryan Connolly.

Half-Time: Not a lot to shout about here at Finn Park, this game could go either way. Harps have scored onlyfour times at home in their last seven league games so we're not expecting a goals feast in the second half!!!  The tannoy has just announced that we have some New Zealand visitors in the crowd.

22 Mins; Half way through the first half here and it's pretty even. Harps started brightly and forced a few early corners but Galway had the best chance when Vinny Faherty burst into the Harps box only to shoot tamely wide. Gary Shananan then had a shot narrowly wide for the visitors.

GAME ON.

Third placed Galway FC will be hoping to keep up their promotion push here at Finn Park while Harps need the points to stay in the hunt for a possible promotion play-off space.
