Finn Harps manager Ollie Horgan is hoping the three-week lay-off from competitive football will not affect their chances of gaining a decent away result against Drogheda Utd in tonight's promotion play-off first leg clash at United Park (kick-off 7.45).

A large following of Harps fans are expect to travel to the Co Lough venue to cheer on the Ballybofey side.

He said: “We have been trying our best to keep the sharpness but that hasn’t been easy with no competitive game since 22nd September.

The friendly against the Defence Forces was a bit of help but we are just focusing now being ready to give it our best shot against Drogheda at United Park.”

Horgan (pictured) will be hoping his side can get a decent result to bring back to Finn Park for the second leg which takes place next Friday night, 19th October.
