~~Going, Going, Gone!
McGettigans Bar was buzzing on Monday night last for the popular steak night, the Movember shave and Pat McLean entertaining the crowd getting everyone into the festive spirit.
Bar Manager Brendan Maxwell along with his colleagues Stephen O Connor, Gerard Cassidy and Lucas along with Rev Joe McCormick all had their beards and moustaches shaved. Linda Wylie Orr along with Nadine Wylie and daughter Gemma were there with the shavers, gowns and moisturisers getting the lads all cleaned up.
This was all in aid of Movember Foundation which is the leading global organisation committed to changing the face of men’s health.
The Movember community has raised €409 million to date and funded over 800 programmes in 21 countries. This work is saving and improving the lives of men affected by prostate cancer, testicular cancer and mental health problems.

The Movember Foundation challenges men to grow moustaches during Movember (formerly known as November), to spark conversation and raise vital funds for its men’s health programs. To date, 4 million moustaches have been grown worldwide, but  won't stop growing as long as serious men’s health issues exist.
Well done to all involved and to Linda Orr from Academy Hair and Beauty for giving up her time to shave the lads.
