Sonas Youth Club supporting young people with autism would like to say a special thank you to Lady Captain Muireanna Friel for selecting Sonas as her charity of the year and donating a total of €3,147 to Sonas Youth Club.
Sonas and Muireanna Friel would like to say a special thanks to all the members of the North West Gold Club, the business who supported the golfing events, Cantina (England), and everyone who supported the two open days at the North West Golf Club.
Liam Gilld added, "On behalf of Sonas Youth Club we would like to thank Lady Captain Muireanna Friel and all their golfers for the generous gift of €3,147 (donated). Their commitment to helping young people with autism in our community is sincerely appreciated."
Each year, Sonas Youth Club continue to advance its mission of improving and enriching the lives of young people on the autism spectrum from Inishowen through a youth work programme, peer supports, programming, and services.
Through their summer programme this year, all the young people enjoyed trips which included Todds Leap Dungannon, Roscor Youth Village - Fermanagh, Barry's Amusements, Inishowen Surf School, the cinema, kayaking, and Foylehover Craft to name just a few.
With the help of donations from their supporters they will continue to see improvements in young people with autism.
